636. Hon TIM CLIFFORD to the minister
representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer the minister
to the Sky News interview on 5 August with Blair Cottrell, a former United
Patriots Front leader and self-confessed Hitler fan. Mr Cottrell has advocated
physical and sexual violence against his detractors and is a convicted violent
thug.

Is the minister aware whether that interview was broadcast on Sky News at the
Perth central train station or at any other stations in WA?
(2)
If yes to (1), does the minister think it is appropriate for taxpayers to
continue to fund the broadcast of Sky News at public transport stations?
(3)
If no to (1), has the minister made inquiries with the Public Transport
Authority to check; and, if not, why not?
(4) If no to (2),
when can we expect to see its removal from those spaces?
(5)
How much is the government paying, and to whom, to broadcast Sky News at public
transport stations?
