(a) The funding to the Bibbulmun Track Foundation is to assist that organisation in providing services to the walkers of the Bibbulmun Track on behalf of the State. The Foundation which has over 1,800 members provides an information service about the Track and its conditions, coordinates a volunteer program involving over 300 volunteers in monitoring and maintaining the Track, produces education manuals and courses for teachers, conducts workshops and develops manuals for tour operators, conducts activities and events based on the track and promotes the Track nationally and internationally.
