I refer to the role of the Prisoner Review Board in
cancelling parole, and I ask: (a) how many parolees have
had their parole cancelled in the current financial year; (b) what were the reasons for
parole being cancelled; and (c) of those parolees whose
parole was cancelled by reason of their whereabouts being unknown, for how
many days were their whereabouts unknown prior to cancellation of their
parole?

(a) A total of 228 Parolees had their parole cancelled between 1 July 2022 and 26 May 2023 by the Prisoners Review Board.
(b) For breaching their parole conditions.
(c) Please refer to the Minister for Corrective Services.
