that Perth Arena is a "prime target for a terrorist attack" and ask: (a) Has the Member for Cowan written or emailed the Premier, any of the Premier’s staff or the Office of State Security and Emergency Coordination (OSSEC) about her concerns prior to making her public comments about Perth Arena: (i) If yes, on what date and will the Premier table a copy of the correspondence?

(a)        No. The Department of the Premier and Cabinet has not received written or emailed correspondence from the Member for Cowan, in regard to her public comments about Perth Arena.
(i)         Not applicable.
However, I take the opportunity to remind the member that Dr Anne Aly is a renowned expert in counter-terrorism and anti-extremism. She has been an associate professor at Curtin University and a professor at Edith Cowan University, as well as founding the anti-radicalisation organisation, People Against Violent Extremism. Dr Aly was also invited to speak at the 44 th President of the United States’ summit on countering violent extremism in 2014.
