(3) If yes to (1), will the Minister table a copy of the list or detail how many CCTV cameras did the PTA have located on its property or equipment on, -
(a) 1 July 2008;
(b) 1 July 2009; and
(c) 1 July 2010?
(4) How many new CCTV cameras have been purchased and installed by the PTA in each of the following financial years, -
(a) 2005-06;
(b) 2006-07;
(c) 2007-08;
(d) 2008-09; and
(e) 2009-10?
(5) How many new CCTV cameras are budgeted to be purchased and installed by the PTA in each of the following financial years, -

(6) The Public Transport Authority (PTA) will be funding improvements to CCTV equipment on Transperth buses, including the provision of the cameras identified in part (5) above from within the capital budget allocated for the procurement of new buses.
The PTA will fund improvements to CCTV equipment on existing infrastructure and on the Transperth train system from its operating budget.
Improvements to CCTV coverage is also planned as part of the Perth City Link Project and the Butler Rail Extension Project. Estimated costs for these improvements are:
Perth City Link Project: $850 000
Butler Rail Ext Project : $200 000
