ROYAL FLYING DOCTOR SERVICE - CHRISTMAS CREEK AIRSTRIP
I refer to the use of the Christmas Creek airstrip by the Royal Flying Doctor Service. (1) Is the minister aware that the airstrip’s current state of repair is so poor that it cannot be used by the flying doctor? (2) Is the minister aware that as a consequence, the flying doctor is unable to provide regular services to the Wangkatjungka community? (3) Will the minister confirm that funds are available for heavy maintenance work on the Christmas Creek airstrip; and, if so, when will they be released? Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH
