I refer to answers provided to questions on notice 45, 46, 48, 50, 52, 53, 55 and 61, in relation to compensation claims for various METRONET projects, and I ask: (a) noting that 33 applications were received and 23 payments were made for the Forrestfield-Airport Link, what would it cost to pay out the remaining applications; (b) in reference to (a), how many of the remaining applications are still under consideration and how many have been rejected; (c) noting that 57 applications were received and 38 payments were made for the Yanchep Rail Extension, what would it cost to pay out the remaining applications; (d) in reference to (c), how many of the remaining applications are still under consideration and how many have been rejected; (e) noting that 14 applications were received and three payments were made for the Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing removal, what would it cost to pay out the remaining applications; (f) in reference to (e), how many of the remaining applications are still under consideration and how many have been rejected; (g) noting that 14 applications were received and six payments were made for the Thornlie-Cockburn Link, what would it cost to pay out the remaining applications; (h) in reference to (g), how many of the remaining applications are still under consideration and how many have been rejected; (i) noting that 10 applications were received and one payment was made for the New Midland Station project, what would it cost to pay out the remaining applications; (j) in reference to (i), how many of the remaining applications are still under consideration and how many have been rejected; (k) noting that 21 applications were received and no payments were made for the Morley-Ellenbrook Line, what would it cost to pay out the applications received; (l) in reference to (k), how many of the remaining applications are still under consideration and how many were rejected; (m) noting that 10 applications were received and one payment made for the Byford Rail Extension, what would it cost to pay out the remaining applications; (n) noting that 24 applications were received and five payments were made for the Bayswater Station project, what would it cost to pay out the remaining applications; and (o) in reference to (n), how many of the remaining applications are still under consideration and how many were rejected?

(a)-(b) All claims are closed.
(c) As at 31 July 2025, 58 property damage claims had been received and 43 payments had been made. The cost to pay out the remaining applications is unknown but estimated to be about $11,300.
(d) Three property damage claims remain open and 12 have been declined.
e) As at 30 June 2025, the Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal Project has paid and closed out four damage claim applications totalling $1,997. The remaining 10 damage claim applications will be reviewed in the coming months.
f) As at 30 June 2025, nil claims have been rejected. All 10 applications are pending assessment and will be reviewed as part of the post-construction property assessment process, which is expected to commence in the coming months.
g) As at 4 July 2025, the Thornlie-Cockburn Link Project has paid and closed out 13 damage claim applications totalling $35,267.54.
h) As at 4 July 2025, the Thornlie-Cockburn Link Project has four damage claims still under consideration and five damage claims that have been rejected.
i) There are no outstanding claims in Midland.
j) Not applicable.
k) The cost to pay out the remaining applications is unknown. Property owners are not asked to provide actual or estimated repair costs in the application, only property damage details.
l) Presently, 24 applications have been received. Of those, three applications have been rejected and 21 remain under consideration.
m) All remaining claims relate to cracking and therefore will be assessed following the completion of the project. METRONET has informed claimants that these assessments will be conducted as part of the post-construction property condition survey. Therefore, no monetary value can be assigned to these claims at this time.
n) The cost to pay out the remaining applications is unknown. Property owners are not asked to provide actual or estimated repair costs in the application, only property damage details.
