A member of parliament requests detailed information on ministerial visits to the North West Central electorate, including dates, attendees, purpose, meetings, briefing notes, and notifications to the local member. The Premier declines to provide the information due to the excessive resources required, citing publicly available flight records and criticising the previous government's transparency.

(a – f) The Premier and Ministers travel regularly throughout regional Western Australia, including the North West Central electorate.
The flight records for the WA Government aircraft are already publicly available, in both previous tabled papers and in Budget Estimates.
The McGowan Labor Government is committed to transparency, unlike the previous Liberal National Government, who did not release a detailed flight manifest in their more than eight years in Government.
Noting the considerable travel and support provided by the McGowan Labor Government throughout Western Australia’s North West region following Cyclone Seroja, and other factors such as the redistribution of electoral boundaries in March 2021, an excessive amount of Government resources would be required to manually prepare the information requested, which has been asked of ten Ministers.
If the Member has a question regarding a specific visit, I will endeavour to answer it.
