(a) Local government authorities and community organisations should contact their local Regional Development Commission (Commission) to discuss investment opportunities. Each Commission prioritises investment opportunities in their region and presents them to the Southern Investment Initiative Advisory Group (Advisory Group) for assessment.
(b) There are no funding rounds for the Southern Investment Initiative (Growing our South).
(c) Projects considered by the Advisory Group are assessed against a range of criteria including alignment with Regional Blueprints, contribution to economic growth, population growth, employment growth, leveraged funding and project risk.
