I can confirm that
today's important announcement doubles down and continues our great investment
in the maintenance of our schools. Today, I announced some $13.4 million of
targeted investment particularly to address some of the maintenance issues that
have been highlighted.

The Speaker: Members of the
opposition!
Ms Sabine Winton: It is important for everyone to
understand that Esperance secondary school is getting the attention that it
deserves from this government.

The Speaker: Members!
Ms Sabine Winton: Members opposite might like to
remind the local community that, when we came into government, the previous
building condition assessment noted some 250 faults at Esperance secondary
school. At Esperance Senior High School alone, we have reduced the maintenance
faults by 50%. I think that is something that everybody should celebrate.
