I refer to the meeting of the Burrup

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. On behalf of the Minister for Regional Development
representing the Minister for State Development, Jobs and Trade, I provide the
following answer.
The Department of Jobs, Tourism,
Science and Innovation advises the following.
(1) The Burrup
and Maitland Industrial Estates Agreement state agencies reference group did
not meet in October 2017.
(2)–(4) Not applicable.
For the member's benefit, at
the BMIEA committee meeting on 30 November 2017, the Murujuga Aboriginal
Corporation did not ask the question. However, the Department of Jobs, Tourism,
Science and Innovation informed the
committee that ''A proponent is looking at site E and undertaking due
diligence'' and ''Another proponent is also showing
interest''. The member has previously been provided with a copy of the
minutes of the November meeting.
