1191. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the minister representing the
Minister for Transport:
I refer to the organisational
structure of the Public Transport Authority.
(1) Has there been any recent
significant changes to the senior executive leadership of the PTA?
(2) If there have been changes to
personnel, what are those changes?
(3) Have any new
senior executive leadership positions been created, or any existing positions
redesignated or redesigned?
(4) If yes to (3), what are the
positions?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided by the
Minister for Transport.
(1)–(4) As
advised in the minister's brief ministerial statement on 18 September
2024, Mr Mark Burgess, the managing director of the PTA, retired on 20 September
2024 after 27 years of service to the state in public transport delivery. The
PTA's general manager of network and infrastructure is currently acting
in the role, which will be advertised in due course.
