(2) Of those waiting for appointments, 170 are 12 years or older, and 133 are younger than 12 years of age. (3) The average waiting time is 6.3 weeks for all children and adolescent mental health services except the south metropolitan children and adolescent mental health services.  The waiting time for south metropolitan children and adolescent mental health services is 16.2 weeks for all ages.  There are no separate waitlists for various age groups in the south metropolitan children and adolescent mental health services.  A process of prioritising occurs and is based on degree of risk for the child or adolescent.
