The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) is a Commonwealth agency responsible, under an agreement with all Australian governments, for developing and publishing national plumbing and building standards through the National Construction Code.
Matters concerning the ABCB’s decision-making and any rationale fall within the remit of the relevant Commonwealth Minister.
