(1) Is the Minister aware of the significant heritage
site within the Beeliar Wetland Regional Park that was the Australian Woman’s
Army Service and Regimental Headquarters during World War Two ? (2) Have any reports been prepared on the heritage
significance of this site by or for the State Heritage Office and if so, will
the Minister table a copy ? (3) Can the Minister outline the current heritage
protection this site has been afforded, and whether he is aware of any
proposals to increase its protection ? (4) What actions has the Minister taken to protect
this site since becoming the relevant Minister ? (5) Has the Minister made representations to the
Minister for Transport regarding the Perth Fright Link proposal that would see
this unique site destroyed, and if not, why not ?

(3) There are currently no heritage listings for this site, however, the City of Cockburn is consulting with its community on its proposal to include the site in the City's Municipal Inventory and Heritage List attached to the Local Planning Scheme.
