 CORONAVIRUS — BUSINESS ASSISTANCE PACKAGE
495. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
This is question 416, which I lodged
a couple of weeks ago. I refer to the $72 million level 2 COVID-19 business
assistance package announced on 2 March 2022.
(1) As at 30 April
2022, how many applications had the government received for support under this
package?
(2) How many of these applications
have been fully assessed to date?
(3) Of the
applications that have been assessed, how many have been deemed eligible for
support and how many have been deemed ineligible?
(4) As at 30 April 2022, how much of the $72 million
package has been paid out to Western Australian businesses?

Can the
honourable member give me the number again?
Hon Dr Steve Thomas : It is
question 416. There are about three of them that are very similar, but they are
on three different packages.
Hon SUE ELLERY : The answer
does not appear to be in my file. If it does come in, I will give it to the
honourable member.
The PRESIDENT : I think you
were being asked for the date.
Hon Dr Steve Thomas : It was
lodged on 9 or 10 May.
