I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) Appeals with respect to an environmental review relating to lot 2 Burns Beach, metropolitan region scheme amendment No 992/33, Clarkson-Butler, are currently being investigated by the appeals convenor of the Environmental Protection Authority, who will report to the Minister for the Environment and Heritage. The minister will then determine each appeal. The appeals convenor’s report and the minister’s decision will be placed on the public record. (2) I do not have a date for the lodgment of the appeal, but the appeal period was 11 March to 24 March 2000.
