I refer to my freedom of information request for a copy of the Commissioner for Railway’s review of Westrail's use of timber sleepers, and ask - (1) Can the minister explain why the Minister for Transport is appealing to the Supreme Court over the FOI commissioner’s decision that he release a copy of the review? (2) What is the estimated cost to the Government of this legal action? (3) What is the minister trying to hide from the community by this appeal to the Supreme Court? Mr COWAN
