I refer to recommendation 14 of report 12, of the Standing Committee on Estimates and Financial Operations into the Balga Works Program, and ask -
(1) Have you instructed the Department of Education and Training to identify the young people who were enrolled in the Balga Works Program, and ensure that they are able to access educational and employment assistance to the level promised by the Balga Works Program?
(2) If yes to (1), will you table a report at the next day’s sitting as required given that six months have now passed?
(3) If no to (2), given that as a committee member you supported this recommendation and now as the Minister you have the power to implement it, why not?
