I refer to the minister’s press release of 22 August 2003 advising that Roe Highway stage 7 will soon proceed. (1) Will the route of stage 7 be the original alignment that has been planned for years? (2) Is this the route studied and endorsed by the local impacts committee - or LIC - in December 2002? (3) Why did the Government not accept the LIC’s later recommendation to follow a different route? Hon KEN TRAVERS
