I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) A formal independent evaluation
is currently being undertaken by Shelby Consulting.
(2) The purpose
of the evaluation is to examine and report on the extent to which the child and
parent centres initiative is meeting, or is on track to meet, state government
objectives, outcomes and key components; the extent to which child and parent
centres outcomes, performance indicators and deliverables are being met,
including trend projections; and the identification of key success and
sustainability factors for future application, and whether there are
opportunities for refinement and improvement of the initiative.
(3) The
evaluation is on track, with the final evaluation report due to be submitted to
the Department of Education in early 2017.
