I refer to the Department of Fisheries Busselton District Office, and I ask: (a) how many staff are currently employed at the office and what is the make-up in terms of casual, part-time and full-time employees; (b) how does this compare to staffing levels at the same time last year; (c) are there any plans to further reduce the number of staff at this office in the future; and (d) if so, by how many and why and when will these cuts be initiated?

(a) As at 3 May 2018, the Department of Fisheries Busselton District Office had nine (9) permanent employees.  Of the nine, there were six (6) full-time employees and three (3) part-time employees. (b) The staffing levels as at 30 April 2017 at the Department of Fisheries Busselton District  Office were nine (9) employees.  Eight (8) permanent and one (1) fixed term employee.  Of the nine, there were five (5) full-time employees and four (4) part-time employees. (c) There are no plans to reduce the number of staff at this office. (d) Not applicable.
