JOE MCDONALD - WITHDRAWN CHARGES
I refer the minister to his reply to questions without notice 483 and 502 concerning the Joe McDonald case. (1) As those questions were asked of the minister in his ministerial capacity, and not of the Commissioner of Police, will the minister explain why police referral of the Joe McDonald matter to the Corruption and Crime Commission should preclude the minister from providing answers to parliamentary questions? (2) Will the minister provide a proper answer to question without notice 483; and, if not, why not? Hon JON FORD
