I refer to the Reproductive Technology Council’s 2018-19 Annual Report , and I ask: (a) are you aware that there were ten reported cases of severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS); and (b) did any of the cases of OHSS involve a surrogacy arrangement?

(a) Yes.
(b) The Reproductive Technology Council reports aggregated data as set out in Schedule 3 of the Directions to the Human Reproductive Technology Act 1991. OHSS data are collected in relation to IVF in general, not specific to surrogacy arrangements.
