208. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the minister
representing the Treasurer:
(1) What is the current level of
debt for —
(a) Western Power;
(b) Synergy;
(c) Fremantle Port;
(d) Pilbara Ports; and the
(e) Water Corporation?
(2) For each agency in (1), how much
does their debt represent of the total public sector debt?

(1) Gross borrowings as at 30 June
2015 are as follows —
(a) $7 204 million;
(b) $540 million;
(c)–(d) $222 million; and
(e) $5 628 million.
(2) On a gross borrowings basis, the
respective proportions are as follows —
(a) 16.3 per cent;
(b) 1.2 per cent;
(c)–(d) 0.5 per cent; and
(e) 12.7 per cent.
On a net debt basis, the respective
proportions are as follows —
(a) 30.7 per cent;
(b) 1.1 per cent;
(c) 0.8 per cent;
(d) zero; and
(e) 24 per cent.
