With regard to the licensing approval to fill in the Bushplan wetland property of lot 1, Jackson Road, Oldbury - (1) Did this property have a full current planning approval that went through normal channels? (1) The Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale received a development application for landfill operations on lots 1 and 12 and gave approval to lot 12 in June 1998. An appeal to the then Minister for Planning was lodged with respect to filling of the southern portion of lot 1. The minister upheld the appeal and gave approval for landfill operations on both lots 1 and 12 in April 1999. The previous minister’s decision overrides any aspect of the shire’s approval.
