Further to question on notice No. 1398 of December 3 2003 where the Minister stated copies of the proponent’s Ascot Waters groundwater monitoring reports are available on request from the DEP -
(1) Is the Minister aware that this is not the case and that the DEP claims it has no such copies?
(2) Did the Minister mislead the House about the availability of these documents?
(3) If not, when were the documents removed from the DEP?

(1-2) No. (3) While copies of monitoring reports are unable to be held in the Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) library due to space limitations, the documents are held in the DEP’s filing system. The documents are available for viewing by the public by arrangement with staff of the DEP.
