(1) There will be no cost savings at WAIS as a result of the Machinery of Government Taskforce. However it can be noted that WAIS has made significant cost savings in the past 18 months through: (a) A ten per cent reduction in staff (6.5 FTE's) (b) An on-going policy of providing computer literacy courses for all technical staff (ie: coaches, program staff).
