With the transition of NAPLAN to computer-based assessments
that use adaptive testing —
(1) Does the government concede tests will now no longer be
standardised?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) If yes to (1), does the government concede that NAPLAN
will no longer perform its function?
(4) If no to (3), why not?
(5) If yes to
(3), will the government consider scrapping NAPLAN and spending the costs saved
on funding evidence-based initiatives in classrooms that will raise student
outcomes in literacy and numeracy since NAPLAN has evidently failed to do so?
