(i) Two additional Multi-Purpose Taxis (MPT) plates have already been released this year in Bunbury. In addition, one additional MPT and one additional peak-period taxi licence are intended to be issued in 2007. All plates are released via a public process which involves advertising in the local paper that additional licences are being made available.
(6) and (i) No. Waiting times are not recorded at specific locations. However, the DPI is aware of extended waiting times in peak times and officers have been stationed in this area on Saturday evenings.
