1205. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
I refer to specific firearm licence
information provided to the member for Warren–Blackwood in relation to
a constituent, including how long the licence has been held, how many firearms
are licensed to the person, the categorisation of those firearms and the
permitted use of those firearms.
(1) Did the minister or his office
provide this information to the member for Warren–Blackwood?
(2) Did the

for Warren–Blackwood?
(3) If any member
of Parliament were to seek such personal and sensitive information in relation
to a constituent, would the information be provided?
(4) Given the
increasing shroud of secrecy from WA police under the guise of ''operational
sensitivities'' is individual firearm
licence information not considered operationally sensitive by the Commissioner
of Police?
