the recent incident of a person who posed as a police officer, did the person
at any time have access to a Taser or a firearm?
(2) If yes to
(1), will the minister please provide full details, including whether it was
deployed, and, if so, in which mode, or was threatened to be deployed?

I thank the honourable member for the question.
(1) Whilst
attending police headquarters and Curtin House, the person who posed as a
police officer did not have access to a police issue Taser or firearm. The
investigation into this matter is continuing. All facts in issue relating to
the investigation remain inquiry sensitive and specific conclusions on any
issue cannot yet be made.
(2) Not
applicable.
