(1) Approximately 270,000 households currently receive the Cost of Living Assistance payment, with around 4,000 of these receiving their electricity charges by way of an on-selling agreement.
(2)(a) $58.9 million;
(b) $67.2 million; and
(c) $61.7 million.
(3)(a) $44.6 million (inclusive of the supply charge rebate expenditure between 1 July 2012 and 30 September 2012, CoLA was implemented from 1 October 2012);
(b) $51.7 million; and
(c) $33.5 million (year to date payments at the time of the request).
