was the feedback from that community consultation; and (c) if not, why not? (4) Can the Minister advise if there has been an Environment Impact Study
done on noise impact in particular for aircraft noise on the proposed

the Minister advise if the Airports Authority have been consulted with regard
to potential aircraft noise issues affecting this development: (a) if yes, what was the Airports Authority’s
response to the impact of potential aircraft noise to future residents living
in this development; (b) if not, will the
Airports Authority be requested to comment on the potential noise issues
related to this development; and (c) if
not, why not? (6) What impact will
proposed changes to runways have on the development? (7) Can the Minister advise whether he or his
department have been advised whether the Airports Authority support the

An Environmental Assessment Report, which considered flora and fauna impacts, was lodged with the amendment application by the proponent. The Environmental Protection Authority has determined that the amendment was not required to undergo
a formal environmental assessment.
(b-c)
The Environmental Assessment Report is not a WAPC document. It is recommended that the proponent be contacted for the report.

Proposed MRS
amendment
No. 1266/57 - Rosehill Golf Course Redevelopment
was advertised for public submissions from 27 May to 1 August 2014. A notice was
placed in The West Australian and a local newspaper circulating in the district. The amendment
was
on display at the City of Swan, Shire of Kalamunda, Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) offices and State Reference Library and
was
available to view on the WAPC's website.
(b) The submission period closed on the 1 August 2014.
As per normal process, a
'Report on Submissions' for the amendment is currently being prepared
by
the WAPC.
(c) Not applicable
(4) (a)
An Aircraft Noise Assessment was lodged with the amendment application by the proponent. The conclusions of the study were consistent with WAPC draft State
Planning Policy 5.1 - Land Use Planning in the Vicinity of Perth Airport proposing residential development within the 20 to 25 ANEF contours, is subject to conditions (those being development restricted to Residential Density Code R20, memorials on titles advising of noise issues and noise attenuation in residences). It did not propose
residential development above the 25 ANEF contour.

The Aircraft Noise Assessment is not a WAPC document. It is recommended that the proponent be contacted for the report.

Yes. Perth Airport Pty Ltd was consulted as part of the preliminary referral process which is undertaken by the WAPC for all MRS Amendments prior to initiation.

expressed
concerns about the potential impact of noise from its
operations and advised that, should the amendment be approved, memorials on the
titles would be required for all new lots.

runway changes will increase the extent of the 20 ANEF and above contour area
affecting Rosehill.
