REGIONAL AIRFARES
833. Mr V.A. CATANIA to the Minister for Transport:
I have a supplementary question.
Will the government commit today to the Nationals' plan to regulate air
routes to ensure that country people are not continually forced to pay through
the nose for what is, in many cases, the only form of transport that they have?

The plan? What plan?
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER : Members!
Ms R. SAFFIOTI : Where is the
plan?
Mr V.A. Catania : It is in our
policy.
Ms R. SAFFIOTI : The member's
plan extends to a sentence in a supplementary question. That is the extent of
his plan! If the member had a plan, he would have taken the eight and a half
years during which members opposite had control of this house and of the upper
house to implement it.
Mr V.A. Catania interjected.
The SPEAKER : Member for North
West Central!
