HIGHWAY — MT BARKER — TRAFFIC COUNTS
735. Hon DARREN WEST to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the section of Albany Highway, Mt Barker near
Mount Barker Community College.
(1) Have any traffic counts been undertaken in the past 12 months;
and, if yes —
(a) how many counts have been
undertaken;
(b) when were the traffic counts
taken;
(c) at what location were the
counts taken; and
(d) what was the average number of
vehicles at each count?
(2) If no to (1), when was the last traffic count taken in
this area?
(3) Are any traffic counts planned for the future and when
will they be conducted?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) No.
(2) The last
one taken was from 29 May 2012 to 11 June 2012, north of Woogenellup Road.
(3) Main Roads does not have any count planned at this site
in the near future.
