The Department of Justice advises that from 1 January 2017 to 23 March 2018 the following prisoner’s property was left unclaimed and has been disposed of or placed in storage:

Prisoners are required to sign for their property upon release. The items left unclaimed do not have any salvage or commercial value. The approximate value of these items is nil.
Section 37 of the Prison Regulations 1982 allows for the disposal of unclaimed property and states:
The disposal methods included destruction and/or donation to accredited charity. There has been no auction and the Department of Justice did not receive any proceeds as a result of the disposal of the property.
