(a) This line item refers to activation works in the Pilbara region. While these works do not include the Oakajee Strategic Industrial Area (SIA), the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification continues to support Oakajee through separate funding sources focused on the Mid West region.
(b) The second phase of water supply planning for the Oakajee SIA involves key environmental and technical studies to support the development of a desalination plant.
