As of 1 January 2010 the Government Media Office ceased to operate in a move to streamline decision making and coordination across portfolios. As part of these changes responsibility for daily Media Monitoring Services for Ministers and some government agencies has been transferred to the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
Department of Environment and Conservation
(a) The Department of Environment and Conservation has contracted media monitoring services for itself, the Office of the Environmental Protection Authority and the Swan River Trust. The firm is Media Monitors.
