On the subject of water bores in the Great Artesian Basin, I ask: (a) how many artesian bores remain uncapped and unused, or under-utilised, in Western Australia; (b) what volume of water is wasted as a result of uncapped bores; (c) what volume of water is used and what is it used for; and (d) is the technology available such that water from artesian bores can be available for use without the current wastage?
