254. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the Minister for Regional Development:
I refer to the McGowan government's
2017 election commitment for a $30 million Collie solar farm.
(1) Will the solar farm project in
Collie be continuing?
(2) Has any solar
resource assessment been conducted for the Collie solar farm; and, if so, will
the minister table the assessment?
(3) Where is the location of the Collie solar farm,
has the site been secured, and when will construction commence?
(4) How many
regional people are currently employed for the delivery of the $30 million
Collie solar farm project; and, upon
completion, how many local people will be employed at the Collie site of the
solar farm?
(5) What is the
anticipated generation capacity of the Collie solar farm, and how will that
generation be utilised in the Shire of Collie?
