I refer to the
legislative priorities of the government.
(1) How many bills was the Parliamentary Counsel's
Office (PCO) drafting at the time Parliament was prorogued last year?
(2) How many bills was the PCO drafting at the
commencement of the winter recess?
(3) How many bills is the PCO presently drafting?

for some notice of the question. The answer is as follows.
(1) There were 59 bills with approval to draft at
prorogation on 17 December 2024.
(2) There were 28 bills with approval to draft as
at 27 June 2025.
(3) There were 33 bills with approval to draft as
at 12 August 2025.
