The workers' compensation
scheme works on the basis that employers take out insurance and that the people
who work for employers, if they are injured in the workplace, take up a case
with that insurer. The contractor for whom Mr Deliu was working has a workers'
compensation policy with an insurance company that provides that policy, and Mr
Deliu's case goes to that company. If Mr Deliu has any concerns, the
Minister for Industrial Relations has indicated that he should contact his
office immediately. I would encourage him to do so.
The SPEAKER : That is the end
of question time.
