BURSWOOD DOME
I refer the minister to the proposed closure of the Burswood Dome. (1) Has the government already given or indicated its intent to give approval for the dome to be closed and demolished? (2) If so, when was approval given and why would the government allow its closure? (3) When will the government proceed to enact relevant legislative change to the Burswood act to allow the dome to be closed and demolished? (4) If no approval has been given by the government, has the owner of the casino been notified of the obligation under the act to maintain the dome for public events; and, if not, why not? (5) If the government intends to approve the closure of the dome, will the government require any financial support from the casino for the proposed Perth Arena; and, if not, why not?
