(a) - (b) No formal studies have been undertaken. However, Main Roads continually monitors and analyses traffic flows on the Freeway through the use of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) technology.
(c) - (f) Mitchell Freeway north of Hepburn Avenue has a four lane divided configuration and is considered adequate to cope with current traffic conditions. There are no plans to widen the Freeway at this location. However, Main Roads will continue to monitor traffic conditions on an on-going basis.
