CANNING
COLLEGE AND TUART COLLEGE
782. Hon SUE ELLERY to the
Minister for Education:
(1) Can the
minister confirm that the projected funding under the new funding model for
2015 for both Canning College and Tuart College has not yet been allocated and
made available to those schools?
(2) When will those schools receive their projected budgets
for 2015?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1) No.
Canning College and Tuart College are part of a small number of schools that
provide unique programs or have a unique mode of delivery to students. These
schools received their 2015 preliminary budget based on the current 2014
resourcing model and related one-line budget calculator specific to their
school. This one-line budget calculator was made available through the
Department of Education's portal on the same day as all other schools
received their 2015 preliminary budget, which was 29 July 2014. These schools
will operate with a one-line budget and have the same IT system and support as
is available to all other schools.
(2) Not applicable.
