I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question. Perhaps I will give the member a hint that whoever drafted the
question for her needs to look at some other parts of the budget to get the
information required.
Point of Order
Hon
ED DERMER : If there
is not a standing order making that type of comment inappropriate, there should
be one. I seek the President's advice.
The
PRESIDENT : I will take that
as a point of view, not a point of order.
Questions without Notice Resumed
Hon SIMON O'BRIEN : And a very interesting point of view it
was, too! I provide a simple answer to the member's question.
(1) None.
(2) No.
(3) Not
applicable.
(4) No.
In the spirit of trying to be helpful, if the honourable
member wants to know how much is to be allocated for what she tweely calls ''the
Premier's office'', I suggest she look at the line above the
line in the budget that she quoted from, entitled ''Cabinet Offices''.
It is there that Hon Adele Farina will
find the expenditure for that purpose in this year. I look forward to seeing
her at estimates with any further questions.
