Forrestfield train stations that will form part of the Forrestfield–Airport
Link.
(1) When will
local residents be consulted on the specific location of airport rail stations
and their designs?

On behalf of the parliamentary secretary representing the
Minister for Transport, I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1) The City
of Belmont established a community reference group in late 2014 as part of its
review of the development area 6 planning area, which takes in the airport west
station. A community open day on development area 6 was held on 14 March 2015.
The Shire of Kalamunda is reviewing its district structure plan for the
Forrestfield–High Wycombe area, which recognises the location of
Forrestfield station. This review is currently out for public comment. An
information evening will be held on Thursday, 26 March 2015 at High Wycombe
Community and Recreation Centre. The Public Transport Authority has advised
that six community information sessions dealing with the Forrestfield–Airport
Link project were held in September 2014. These community information sessions
displayed the current status of the FAL project and the location of and concept
designs for the three stations.
