Attorney General representing the Minister for Police:
I refer to the very dangerous
stretch of road, known locally as ''Suicide Alley'', along Broun
Avenue between Collier Road and The Strand in Morley.
(1) How many
times this year has a speed camera been located within either of the school
zones in this section of road between 7.30 and 9.00 am, and 2.30 and 4.00 pm?
(2) How many
times this year have WA Police targeted speeding motorists with the use of a radar
gun within these same school zones between 7.30 and 9.00 am, and 2.30 and 4.00
pm?
(4) How many
motorists have been clocked doing in excess of 40 kilometres an hour in these
school zones as a result of these efforts this year?
