In relation to each of the Western Australia Trade and Investment Offices at Europe – London, India – Mumbai, Japan – Tokyo, Japan – Kobe, Middle East – Dubai, People's Republic of China – Shanghai, People's Republic of China – Hangzhou, Singapore and South Korea – Seoul, I ask —
(1) How many staff are employed at each overseas Western Australia Trade and Investment Office and for each staff member —
(a) what are their salary levels, and
(b) salary packaging details?
(2) For the financial year 2011-12 will the Minister provide the following details of each office —
(a) the Budget Actual;
(b) a breakdown of the figures with respect to the following —
(i) meals;
(ii) accommodation;
(iii) travel;
(iv) promotional sponsorship;
(v) costs of consultants; and
(vi) cost of leasing office space and the cost of any additional satellite offices?
(3) Will the Minister provide the key performance indicators (KPIs) used to measure the value of each Trade Office for 2011-12?
(4) If yes to (3), what is their performance when measured against the KPIs?
(5) If no to (3), why not?
(6) What was the monetary return to the State for the financial year 2011-12 from the activities assisted through the each Trade Office?
(7) Do the Western Australian Trade and Investment Offices also provide services to other Australian States or Territory?
(8) If yes to (7) —
(a) what types of services are provided;
(b) what monetary value has been facilitated to that State or Territory by the Western Australia Trade Office for the financial year 2011-12;
(c) how are other States charged for this service; and
(d) what is monetary value of this service?
